It can separate the particles from the oil sample and arrange them on the substrate according to the size of the particles. It can not only read the relative concentration of the particles, but also make further analysis of the physical properties of the particles. 油样铁谱分析能提供磨损残渣的数量、粒度、形态和成分四种参数，通过研究即可掌握有关的磨损情况。铁谱分析技术所使用的分析仪有铁谱分析仪和直读式铁谱仪等。 Ferrographic analysis of oil samples can provide four parameters of the amount, size, morphology and composition of wear residue, and the wear situation can be grasped through research.
