T2FM500是一套完整的铁谱分析系统，用以分离和评定在用润滑油、液压油、冷却液或燃油中的磨损颗粒和污染物颗粒，由蓟管型制谱仪、双色显微镜（可选配光密度计）、摄像机、加热盘（可选）和图像采集软件组成。
T2FM500 is a complete ferrography analysis system for separating and evaluating wear particles and pollutant particles in lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant or fuel oil. It consists of thistle tube spectrometer, double-color microscope (optional optical densitometer), camera, heating disk (optional) and image acquisition software.
油液在自身重力下直接通过蓟型玻璃导管，匀速流过铁谱基片；油样中所有铁磁性颗粒在磁场作用下被沉积到铁谱基片上，经彻底冲洗、烘干后进行分析。有效避免了普通铁谱仪制备的谱片在显微镜观察过程中产生的光晕。
Oil directly passes through thistle-shaped glass conduit under its own gravity and flows through ferrography substrate at a uniform speed. All ferromagnetic particles in the oil sample are deposited on Ferrography substrate under the action of magnetic field, and are thoroughly washed and dried for analysis. It effectively avoids the halo produced by the spectrograph prepared by ordinary Ferrography in the process of microscopic observation.
T2FM500采用双色显微镜观测谱片上沉积的磨粒。在双色显微镜光源下，可观察到红色金属磨粒（金属磨粒反射红光）以及绿色非金属磨粒（绿光透过非金属磨粒）的图像。
The abrasive particles deposited on the spectra were observed by a two-color microscope in T2FM500. The images of red metal abrasives (metal Abrasives reflecting red light) and green non-metallic abrasives (green light passing through non-metallic abrasives) can be observed under the light source of a two-color microscope.
